Gold Exploration Group a.s. continues to develop its exploration activities in Slovakia and Central Europe at a time when the region is gaining renewed attention for its mineral potential and strategic importance.
Central Europe has a long geological and mining tradition. Today, this tradition is becoming relevant again, not only because of precious metals such as gold, but also because of minerals and polymetallic systems that may play an important role in Europe’s future industrial and technological security.
Slovakia in particular is increasingly discussed in the context of critical and strategic raw materials. The country has a strong geological base, historical mining districts and several areas with potential for gold, antimony and polymetallic mineralisation. This creates a clear need for modern, responsible and technically disciplined exploration.
At the European level, the Critical Raw Materials Act has created a new framework for strengthening domestic access to strategic raw materials. For countries such as Slovakia, the Czech Republic and other parts of Central Europe, this represents an opportunity to reassess historically known mineral regions through modern exploration methods, better data evaluation and cooperation with technical and investment partners.
Gold Exploration Group is focused on the systematic development of licensed exploration areas in Slovakia. Our portfolio includes projects with potential for gold, antimony and other metals, reflecting both the geological diversity of the region and the growing strategic relevance of domestic mineral resources.
Our approach is based on disciplined project evaluation, responsible geological work and long-term value creation. We believe that Central Europe has the potential to become more visible in the European raw materials landscape, provided that exploration is carried out professionally, transparently and with respect for local communities and environmental standards.
For GEG, Slovakia is not only a historical mining region. It is a future-oriented exploration platform in the heart of Europe.
Approved Drilling Campaign Programme for 2026
The drilling campaign programme represents an important step in the further professional assessment of the geological potential of the exploration area. Its objective is to obtain new geological, structural, and analytical data necessary for a more accurate evaluation of deposit conditions, mineralisation, and the further planning of exploration activities.
PDAC 2026
We participated in PDAC 2026 in Toronto, one of the world’s largest and most important mining and mineral exploration events.
Our participation provided an excellent opportunity to meet with international mining companies, investors, technology providers, laboratories, and strategic partners. During the event, we presented our activities, discussed potential cooperation opportunities, and followed the latest trends in mineral exploration, project development, financing, and critical raw materials.
Brehov: drilling completed, core logged and sampled; laboratory results expected in the coming days.
Sirník: first drillhole completed; ~1/3 of the core processed, remainder by year-end.
Kokava: old adit ~0.1 g/t Au; new adit (LiDAR) ~2.5 g/t Au → promising vertical potential.
Kokava – reconnaissance: LiDAR-identified new zone is a collapse/talc zone, with no hydrothermal alteration.
Solčany: 100 kg quartz sample (TUKE) ~0.5 g/t Au → prospector confirmed gold-positive continuation of the structure.
The subsidiary company Rodinia s.r.o. has joined the ARTeMIS program to support university studies for students with disabilities.
This program, part of the European scientific project Erasmus+, enables the company to actively participate in developing educational opportunities for students with special needs.
